My folk art is conservation by design. I consider myself an urban forester; most materials I use are recycled or milled urban wood. My furniture seeks to remind both the maker and the user of the ties which connect human beings to the natural world. It brings us back into the woods and its magic. It evokes the spirituality of the wild. If you say no more of my art than it is beautiful, I have made my point. If it enhances your environment and warms your heart, I have also met my objective.
